When I’m looking for affiliate programs to promote, I look at certain criteria to determine whether I should invest any of my precious time in research, content and traffic towards promoting that affiliate program.
First, you should know (if you are a beginner) that affiliate marketing needs real work to succeed, but it is not a rocket science. The first thing you need to make money with affiliate programs is to understand what you are promoting, on your website or blog. You have to promote only the products that you trust.
The second thing is to drive a good amount of traffic to your blog. That can be done using different ways. You can drive traffic using adverting networks. Keep in mind that there is no way to generate sales, and earn commission with free ways, it’s just a waste of time.
